ApprovalsThe Minister for Planning, Frank Sartor, approved the Development Application for the Invincible Colliery allowing for the current phase of extraction using open cut mining methods in September 2006. The Minister for Infrastructure and Planning, Craig Knowles, approved the Development Application for the Cullen Valley Mine allowing for the current phase of extraction using open cut mining methods in 2004.

Coalpac is seeking approval for the consolidation and expansion of the existing Cullen Valley Mine and Invincible Colliery operations to produce up to a total of 3.5 million tonnes per annum.
Coalpac is currently working through the consultation process with the local community and Government Department.
